An Interesting Bedroom for Your Child Will Inpsire Your Child's Mind
C reating an intertesting bedroom helps create more oportunities to talk to your baby. You can use simple children's posters, family photos, pictures, and ceiling mobiles.
Just before bedtime can be a great time to spend with your baby. As you put you child to bed, talk through the items on the walls. For example you might point out cars, trains, aerophones on a poster, point out the different members of your family in photos.
You could also go through colours in a poster and shapes.
Doing this regularly, you will use the same words and your child will become more familiar with them.
You'll also create a calm routine before bedtime.
As your baby gets older, you can add more questions into the routine. For example, whilst looking together at a family you could ask "Where is Mummy?", initially you reply your self, "Oh, there she is and point to her". As time passes, you baby begin to point out Mummy when asked where she is.
As they get older, and with your encouragement, they will enjoy this game more and more.
