Building Your Baby's Vocabulary

Building Your Baby's Vocabulary

Y our baby has the capacity understand many words before they begin to say them.

There are simple things you can do to help your baby build up their vocaubulary. As you go about your daily routine, point out secific key things to your baby, using the same language eachtime.

During your chores, ask questions of your baby as if your will respond... they will notice that and you will notice their expression change as thay detect that somekind of response is expected for them.

The language around these basic chores is important as your baby will feel very different after them and they will link the words you say to your actions.

The more animated and expressive you can be, will amuse and stimulate your baby more.

For example -

When changing a nappy.... "Do we need to change your nappy?" (you check it) and let them know what the outcome is.
