Learning does not Start and End at School

P arents do play an important role in their children's learning.

Some parents believe that children's learning is the sole responsibility of school. This belief is often passed down from their parents and has a lot to do with established behaviour within each family.

It is one reason why children who's parents are better educated tend to to better as their parents know what it takes for children to do well in learning. They have proved to themselves the positive effects of what they do at home on their children's learning.

Give it a Try - There's Nothing to Loose

If you think learning belongs only in school, why not give it a try for your child's sake? Make up your own mind, after seeing the results for yourself. There's nothing to loose but everything to gain... you'll help shape a brighter future for your child.

Supporting your child's learning won't be difficult, the secret is to start before your child begins school with simple fun playful learning activities.

Why not join forces with other Mums and Dads, and support eachother?

If you hit a problem seek help and advice, you can contact us as EasyStreetLearning. We are determined to help parents find solutions to the real practical obstacles they face so that more children can reach their full potential.

Helping your child have better communication skills will have added benefits. Your child will be better behaved, because they will have a better understanding of why it is better to be well behaved and they will have a greater range of activities that can do to prevent them getting bored and restless.

Also in the years to come you and your child will build a stronger bond simply because your communication will be better and you can both express yourselves to eachother.

If you're still not convienced, consider this...

If you were to spend just 15 minutes a day reading to your child almost every day. When you child is aged 5 years, that works out to be around 15 days of continuous reading time. There is no surprise that a child with that amount of exposure to words, stories, ideas, encouragement and simply the joy of books will flourish at school.

If you have any other older children willing to join in, get them to have a go too. Babies love to watch young children play and young together, and they can learn a lot from them too.
